💭 Talk Abstract:
Better Instrumentation for Transparency in a Complex IT Landscape - Raymond Gao (BSH)
Our world is becoming more complex and increasingly sophisticated. The rapid adoption of diverse technologies, as evidenced by the rise of Kubernetes, Machine Learning and GenAI create opportunities as well as lead to potential for errors and mistakes. Applications generate logs. The analysis of logs (files) let us identity the root causes for problems and security risks. Given logs are long and could be overwhelming to read for human, it is necessary to have the right tools for the job, quickly and efficiently to get that job done. Elastic Search is one of those tools, with which we at BSH use for that purpose.
I will give a presentation on how we have used it in our ongoing digital initiatives. Based on our experience, I will talk about what were our challenges and retrospectives. Meetup is a knowledge sharing session. Hence, I am also interested in having a live talkback session, whereby the audience is welcome to share their experience, lessons learned and perspectives through dialogues.
🎙️ We want to hear from you — and so do other meetup members!
We're looking for folks to present about your Elastic Stack stories, be it a 5-10 minute ⚡lightning talk⚡ or a 25-45 minute presentation with Q&A.
Our Speaker Guide is full of tips on giving a stellar presentation.
