What we’re about

Living with an Emotional Dog—a dog that is constantly stressed, fearful, anxious, or aggressive is a very complex proposition. Part of the reason this is so challenging is that, for the most part, pet parents /owners of these dogs are navigating the daily challenges of their care and management on their own.

In my eighteen years of training dogs professionally, I have witnessed first-hand the emotional toll that caring for an Emotional Dog implies.

While Emotional Dogs must learn essential skills such as resilience and flexibility and become more confident and optimistic overall (yes, dogs can be pessimistic or optimistic), their caregivers must also learn important skills to make a difference in their dogs’ lives. When folks find themselves overwhelmed and without support, the chances of their dog improving are paltry at best.

I strongly believe that pet parents of Emotional Dogs need support, so I have created a learning and support group to fill the gap.
