What we’re about

We are the Department for International Cooperation at Folkuniversitetet in Uppsala! 🌍

Established in 1998, our role is to engage actively in European education, training, labor market initiatives, and societal activities. Our mission is to facilitate the transfer of innovative ideas between Folkuniversitetet and international partners through our projects and collaborations.

💼 With a portfolio of over 50 projects in vocational and adult education, integration policy, and empowerment, we strive to contribute meaningful advancements in these fields.

We organize various events such as seminars, conferences, and workshops—all aimed at promoting learning, exchanging and networking. These activities are open to all and free of charge.

Our team, diverse in background and expertise, is united in its commitment to education and societal development. Together, we work to influence and shape policy and practice beyond our borders.
