Hike at Marjory Swope Park | 3 20s and 30s Meetup Group Mashup

Hello, everyone! I am planning a hike at Marjory Swope Park near Concord, New Hampshire. This is a moderate 5.9-mile loop trail with an elevation gain of about 900 ft. We will be traveling via the Jerry Hill and Pine Hill Trails; there are some very scenic views! Please note that I am also posting this event in the “Outdoor Adventures 20s and 30s” Meetup group and the “20s and 30s Hanging Out” Meetup Group. Dogs are welcome at this location, but must be kept on a leash.

Parking for this event is located in a dirt parking lot off of Long Pond Rd; please select the “directions” link at Swope Loop to Pine Hill, New Hampshire - 158 Reviews, Map | AllTrails for driving directions. There is a sign that reads "Marjory Swope Park" at the parking lot's entrance. Additional parking is allowed along Long Pond Road in front of the Swope Park Parking Lot. Depending on how many RSVPs I get for this event, I may add a carpool location, as I cannot guarantee that there will be enough parking spaces for separate cars and a large group. Please keep an eye on the comments section for updates on this. For those bringing guests, please carpool.

Plan to be at the park at 10:00am. I will post a comment in the comments section when I arrive and wait for friends to gather. We will begin the hike at 10:15am. I estimate that the hike will take about 3.5 - 4.0 hours, but we will travel at our own pace. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you are concerned about the difficulty of this hike.
