This is a joint event with Sydney Bushwalks & Getaways

ACCOMMODATION. We will staying 2 nights at Penneshaw Oceanview Apartments and 2 nights at Kingscote Kangaroo Island Bayview Villas.

VIRGIN FLIGHTS. Saturday 16th November. VA0412 Depart Sydney 9.15am. Arrive Adelaide 10.55am. Wednesday 20th November. VA0439 Depart Adelaide 6.55pm. Arrive Sydney 9.20pm.

HOLIDAY ITINERARY. We will fly to Adelaide, pick up minibus at 11.15am, get to Victor Harbour by 12.30pm and get the 4.00pm Sealink Ferry to Kangaroo Island. We will be staying in good quality 2 bedroom apartments at Penneshaw and Kingscote and will have plenty of time to explore Kangaroo Island and go for sight-seeing trips and bushwalks at Flinders Chase National Park. On the way back to Adelaide, we will drive to D'Arenberg Winery, McLaren Vale and Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.

ACTIVITIES. We will be sight-seeing, bushwalking and visiting lots of unique places around Kangaroo Island, including Cape Willoughby Lighthouse, Dudley Wine Cellars, False Cape Winery, Seal Bay Sanctuary, Flinders Chase NP, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, Stokes Bay, Cliffords Honey Farm, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, American River Oyster Farm, Emu Bay Lavender Farm, Bay of Shoals Winery, KI Spirits, Island Beehive, Kingscote shops, Museum and Art Galleries.

OPTIONAL TOURS. Seal Bay Sanctuary, Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures and Raptor Domain. We will probably only have time to visit the Seal Bay Sanctuary.

HOLIDAY COST. $1550 for twin share rooms. $1850 for single rooms. Includes return airfares to Adelaide, 4 nights luxury 2 bedroom apartments at Penneshaw and Kingscote, 5 days minibus hire, fuel, vehicle insurance, National Park fees, day trips, sight-seeing activities and Sealink Ferry trip ($125pp) to Kangaroo Island. Most optional tours are not included in the holiday price.

WHAT TO BRING. Bush walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, swimmers, rain jacket and a good sense of fun and adventure.

PAYMENT. Please pay $650 deposit by the 30th November 2023. $900 or $1200 balance won't be due for payment until the 31st July 2024.

EAST COAST HOLIDAY. If you would like to come to Tasmania with us after Christmas, please RSVP Going and pay your $600 deposit asap to confirm your flights, accommodation and seat on the minibus.

MONA MUSEUM. The Mona Museum is only open for 4 days Friday to Monday 10.00am to 5.00pm, which means that your best option would be to book a tour on Monday afternoon 30th December.

Pennicott Wilderness Cruise or 10km Bushwalk, Cheese & Chocolate Factories, Constitution Dock, New Years Eve Celebrations. 1st January. Huon Valley Day Tour. Geeveston and 5km Tahune Airwalk. 2nd January. Mount Field NP and 4km Waterfall Walk. Drop off minibus. Hobart to Sydney Flight.

FLIGHTS. Not yet booked. Will depend on RSVP people numbers.

BRUNY ISLAND. We will get 9.00am ferry to Bruny Island and drive to Adventure Bay for the Wilderness Cruise. If some people would prefer not to do the boat cruise, we could go for 3 hour walk to Grass Point and Fluted Cape. After the Wilderness Cruise, we will drive back to the ferry via The Neck Lookout, Cheese Factory and Chocolate Factory.

HOLIDAY COST. $1750 per person, which includes return airfares to Hobart, 7 nights good quality motel and villa accommodation, 8 days minibus hire, fuel and vehicle insurance.

ACCOMMODATION. We will book good quality motel and villa accommodation at Launceston, Bicheno and Hobart. If anyone is really keen to have their own rooms, it will cost you an extra $550 for 7 nights.

OPTIONAL TOURS. Mona Museum, Bruny Island Wilderness Cruise, Tahune Airwalk. Approximate Cost $250 per person.

PAYMENT. Please pay Chris $600 deposit by 31st December 2023, so that we can book our flights, accommodation and minibus at the best possible prices. The $1150 or $1800 balance payments will not be due for payment until 31st August 2024.

FLEURIEU PENINSULA. This are is famous for its wineries, rugged coastline, cliffs, caves, sight seeing, bushwalks and lobsters.

ITINERARY. We won't have time to do all of the bushwalks. We will call in to Tourist Info Offices to check out the main activities in each town.

DAY 1. Adelaide to Naracoorte via Murray Bridge and Padthaway. We will check out the caves at Naracoorte and stay overnight at Naracoorte, which is one of the main towns in the Coonawarra region.

DAY 2. NARACOORTE. Explore the Coonawarra region. Wine and food tasting. Bushwalk at Fairview and Big Heath Conservation Parks.

DAY 3. ROBE. Visit Penola, Mount Gambier, Blue Lake, Cape Banks & Cape Martin. Bushwalks at Canunda NP and Beachport CP.

DAY 4. ROBE. Visit Mount Schank and Port Macdonnell. Bushwalks at Little Dip CP, Lake Eliza, Lake St Clair and Lake George.

DAY 5. VICTOR HARBOUR. Cape Jaffa, Kingston, Mt Scott CP, Coorong NP, Mt Boothby CP, Lake Albert and Lake Alexandria.

DAY 6. VICTOR HARBOUR. Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island, Murray River and Granite Island. Bushwalks amd sight-seeing.

DAY 7. SYDNEY. McLaren Vale, Mount Barker, Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf. Mostly food and wine tasting on the way to Airport.

HOLIDAY COST. $1650pp for twin share rooms or $1250 single rooms, which includes return airfares to Adelaide, 6 nights single or twin share rooms, 7 days minibus hire, fuel and vehicle insurance.

ACCOMMODATION. We will book the best motel accommodation available in each town, based on Booking.com ratings and prices.

DINNER BOOKINGS. We will mostly be having pub dinners in each town.

PAYMENT. Please pay $700 deposit by 20th December to pay for your flights and confirm your accommodation and seat on the minibus. The $950 balance won't be due for payment until the 28th February. If you would prefer single rooms, your balance payment will be $1450.

EASTER 7 DAY HOLIDAY. This will be a 1500km road trip holiday from Newcastle to Eden via Sydney, Kiama, Nowra, Ulladulla, Batemans Bay and Narooma. We will be staying in good quality motels for 2 nights at Ulladulla, Merimbula and Narooma.

DAY 1. Newcastle to Ulladulla via Sydney, Kiama and Nowra.
DAY 2. Ulladulla to Merimbula via Batemans Bay and Narooma.
DAY 3. Day trip to Eden whale museum and whaling station.
DAY 4. Merimbula to Narooma via Bega, Tathra and Bermagui.
DAY 5. Swimming with seals at Narooma. Wazza's boat tour.
DAY 6. Narooma to Ulladulla via Moruya and Batemans Bay.
DAY 7. Ulladulla to Newcastle via Jervis Bay and Hyams Beach.

HOLIDAY COST. $1050 for twin share rooms. $1450 for single rooms. Cost includes 6 nights motel accommodation, 7 days minibus hire, fuel and vehicle insurance. Swimming with seals tour will cost about $150pp.

PAYMENT. Please pay Chris $500 deposit by 31st May 2024 and the $550 or $950 balance by the 28th February 2025.
