What we’re about
Meet people in your own back yard and from around the world who enjoy travel and who have an appreciation for great music and love to dance. Novices who would like to learn to dance or enjoy watching great dance moves will also have fun with this group. We will provide occasions to participate in a lot of fun events with family, friends and new acquaintances plus unique opportunities to find that perfect travel buddy or dance partner.
This group originated in the DC Metro area and is based in Florida. We continue to provide opportunities for everyone no matter where your live. Our first Meet-Up, was February 14, 2010, when we cruised 7-days on the Carnival Pride to the Bahamas from Baltimore with a stop over in Port Canaveral, Florida on the way.
This cruise event featured dance workshops by One Step at a Tyme Dance Institute instructors, along with dance parties, dance competitions, a private farewell cocktail party and much, much more. There will be something for everyone that loves to dance, cruise/travel, and meet other people with common interests.
Singles are welcome; we assist in providing options for singles roommates and there are plenty of dance partners at all our events. Couples are definitely welcome. We offer something for everyone that who enjoys dancing, traveling, or a night on the town! There are many opportunities to dance, mingle, enjoy the beautiful travel destinations, or just relax and watch others cutting up on the dance floor. So get your dancing shoes on and be ready for some Fun whether on the beach, a dance hall, a cruise ship... in varied destinations throughout Florida, the U.S. and abroad!
