See allJoin Brian, Mary, Doyle and Rahul for a hike in Jorgensen Park, followed by brunch at Dome Kalamunda. The hike will take up to an hour to walk. It’s relatively flat but there are some small hills. Dome is 1km from the park, so it should take 13 minutes to walk there. You don’t have to feel obligated to join us at Dome or to get food if you just want a coffee.
==== About the trail ====
Distance : 2.7 km
Grade : 3
Time to Complete: 60 minutes
Jorgensen Park was the site of the original Kalamunda Golf Club, which moved to Forrestfield in 1972. In some places the walk follows the old fairways, and in part incorporates some of the Bibbulmun Track. A moderately easy, pleasant loop walk. The trail markers are red.
This walk is mostly dog friendly, however a short section of the trail is in Kalamunda National Park (dogs are not permitted in National Parks).
Meeting point
We will meet outside the front of the Kalamunda Community Learning Centre. We will depart by 10:10am sharp, so please be on time.
