Active Beaches 20s 30s | Jax Beach

$10 entry fee includes the lesson and dance. There is a door on the far right side of the main entrance to walk in that they asked us to use. Basically all the way at the end of the building. There's no charge if you want to arrive after 8pm.

Line Dance Lesson will begin at 6:30pm.

Beginners country swing lesson will begin at 7pm.

Some like Jack are pros. Others are brand new.

This event is going to be at K1 Speed (Autobahn Jax)

This is great practice for the weekly trips they make to Sadler's Ranch in Fernandina Beach most Saturday evenings. Their group goes most Saturdays, so feel free to ask about that if you're interested also.
The venue is awesome and will have for purchase drinks, food, pool (billiards), racing, axe throwing, and virtual reality games.

We meet in between the courts where everyone gathers.

Courts on the left are for beginners. Courts on the right are advanced.

We have extra paddles if you need one. We have a few experienced players, but we'll teach you to play if it's your first time. Some people play competitive games, but most of us are pretty relaxed. We're just out to have fun, be active, and make friends.

We can teach the rules but we hope that everyone who joins can already comfortably hit a ball back and forth with themselves against a wall consistently or with someone else on a sidewalk. If you aren't able to do that, it will be hard for us to teach you the rules of the game because being coordinated with the paddle is very fundamental.

Location is posted publicly for everyone. We will be at Fort Family Park in the back left corner of the grass soccer field near the middle of the two fields.

Sometimes we have to change the location due to weather so check this page for updates before the event.

No requirement to play. Feel free to come to watch and hang.

If possible, we try to separate courts based on skill level so people at similar levels can play together.

We'll bring music. Bring your own drinks and food.

Public display of alcohol is illegal.
