Brain Friendly Change: Where Agilists and Change Managers align

Details

Adelaide Agile Community - wonderful news to have Dr Jen Frahm here in Adelaide for our November meetup in collaboration with the Change Management Institute Australia SA Chapter.

Jen will keynote on "Brain Friendly Change", lead a group activity for attendees, then facilitate a panel discussion with Noelle Smit, Mark Winter and Aimié Ellis.

All bookended with some catered informal networking on Thursday November 21st from 5.30pm at Lot Fourteen in the Robson Lecture Theatre, Tech_Central Building.

Thanks to Encode Talent Teamgage and Scrum Alliance for making this possible and the support during the year.

First round invites to supporters of the Adelaide Agile Community meetups or the LAST Club and LAST Conference Adelaide 2024 have been sent and more to follow as a thank you for supporters, session leaders, volunteers and community participants - feel free to DM me if you have any queries.

Looking forward to this special evening and first of hopefully many collaborations with the CMI and others, in my mind, agile practitioners are change practitioners and vice versa, so how wonderful to have opportunities to bridge any gaps in our knowledge and learn from each other on how we can best work together....learning and adapting.

Brain-friendly Change: Where Agilists and Change Managers align

Change Managers and Agilists alike often need people to adopt new ways of working to achieve their organisational goals. They are often both in the position of lacking formal authority and needing to influence change. They are also both working with workforces that are saturated with change, in cognitive overwhelm and exhausted.

Change management has come a long way and the latest knowledge in applied neuroscience has benefits to both practicing change managers and agilists. Dr Jen Frahm, Co-founder of the Agile Change Leadership Institute is going to take us through four brain preferences that when understood and harnessed can make our roles so much easier!

You can ask that!

You’ll then be led through a facilitated networking session where agilists and change managers are paired up to ask the questions they have always been curious about of each other’s professional domain.

The inside voice speaks on the outside!

We’ll come back together to experience a no holds barred panel discussion chaired by Dr Jen Frahm where agilists and change practitioners share what’s on their mind and what they wish each other knew about their domain.
