Bonython Park Walk/Playground

Join us for a leisurely walk by the River Torrens along the Bonython Park trails.

We will depart and finish at Cafe Bonython (Bonython Park Kiosk) next to the playground where the kids can play before or after the walk while parents enjoy a coffee or drink together. Any families wishing to meet up but not join part or all of the walk are still welcome.

There are a couple of route options which we can choose on the day pending participant preferences.
Both routes are relatively flat and easy to navigate for prams, scooters, bikes and little legs, with one option walking for 30 minutes return and the other approximately 15-20 minutes return.

Expect to have casual chats with other families with their children, great scenery on the walk, and the opportunity for your kids and yourself to make new friends.

Free parking is available at Bonython Park for those driving (follow the signs to public carpark NOT Cafe Bonython), or the Bonython Park tram stop is a few minutes walk across the parklands to the cafe.

Although we have taken care to choose a safe, child friendly area to walk, each adult is responsible for the safety of their own child/children. As such, all children must be accompanied by their own parents/carers.

As a courtesy to all attendees we will wait for up to 10 minutes for any late arrivals.

Please note that this event may get cancelled last minute due to weather or family circumstances. We will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible should this be necessary.
