The weather for November is predicted to be unseasonably mild for November; sunny and 50 deg during the day. Sunset is estimated for 4:20 P Fireworks & a Lighted Parade is on the schedule. The Boats on the peer will also be lit up. The lights are different every year. There would be an opportunity to try different photography techniques ie, double exposure, I. C.M. light trails, interesting portraits.
We still need to remember to dress for outdoor photography as the temp drops considerably after sunset.
This event could be a nice way to gather pre-holiday and catch up.
We could consider going to the East Cove or the Lake George Brewing co, or T. R.'s for a bite afterwards for those interested.
A tripod would be recommended for a variety of shots.
Parking would be street. Walgreens Parking is easy , with a short walk to Shepherd Park. Rest rooms on Beach Walk should be open, however there is always Stewarts. Location of the event.
