Regardless of your skill level, our experiences are tailored for everyone. Join us for an walk in the lovely Chiltern Hills, through the heart of Great Missenden and surrounding countryside.
This is a Moderate Level Circular hike with hills Starting at Great Missenden Train Station

Length - 11 miles / 18 km Ascent - 980 feet / 300 metres
Grade - Medium
Total Hike time - 6 hrs. (5 hours walking time plus lunch & breaks)

Starting in the lovely village of Great Missenden, this walk takes us west into the beautiful Chiltern Hills, a classic example of the British countryside. We’ll wander through rolling fields, peaceful woodlands, and quiet valleys, where the landscape shifts from open farmland to shaded forest paths.The countryside here is rich with wildlife and the changing seasons bring a variety of colours. Along the way, we’ll pass by quaint hamlets and follow hedgerow-lined tracks, giving us a real sense of rural England’s charm. It’s a perfect route for anyone looking to escape into nature and enjoy the beauty of the Chilterns. The overall elevation is not to high but there are a couple of short steep ascents along the way.

Please check the temperatures - we recommend you bring a hat and gloves and layers.
Dress appropriately for the weather as our walks go ahead in rain or shine, It's recommended to carry a waterproof jacket at all times.
Check the forecast and bring sun cream, a hat, etc. for warm days, or waterproofs, hat and gloves for wet / cold days.
Since we'll be walking through woodland with nettles and a potential for tick bites, consider wearing trousers or leggings.
Avoid denim or cotton.
Opt for walking shoes or boots; open-toe shoes won't be suitable.
As there might not be opportunities to purchase food or drinks along the route, bring at least 1.5 litres of water, lunch, and snacks.
Keep in mind that there won't be public toilets available on the route.Sign up form:

Our guided walks are led by qualified walking leaders through Mountain Training UK. Our leaders are also Outdoor First Aiders. Please note that no dogs are permitted on our walks. Adventure Women is an all-female activity group.Walk Grades:
Easy: Mostly flat, under 10 miles, suitable for beginners.
Medium: Inclines, over 10 miles; challenging but doable for most.
Hard: Steep inclines and/or over 15 miles; requires some walking/hill fitness.
Challenging: Tougher terrain, unsteady ground, hilly, remote areas, full days out; not for beginners.Important Note:

Join us for a woodland and river walk in the Colne Valley - Hertfordshire This is a medium level Circular hike with Starting at Rickmansworth Aquadrome Car park, Rickmansworth.
Area - Colne Valley County - Hertfordshire
Length - 13 miles / 21 km Ascent - 1350 feet / 400 metres
Grade - Medium
Total Hike - Approx 13 miles / 21 kilometers (approx 5.5 hours walking time plus breaks)
Accessible by train: Yes

This is a great walk with plenty to see. We start at Rickmansworth Aquadrome car park, before heading into the woodlands of the colne valley. We will circumvent Ruislip Lido (water is currently closed) where we will walk on the “beach” before heading into Ruislip Wood nature reserve. We head out into open country side briefly before our next wood, Mad Bess Wood (great name!) and then Bayhurst wood countryside park. The next part of the walk is more open, fields, rural areas with the last section of this walk alongside the grand union canal.Meeting point:

Join us for an walk in Woburn, walking through the majestic Woburn Deer Park and Apsley Heath.
This is a Moderate/ hard Level Circular hike with hills Starting and Ending at Woburn Sands Station

This walk takes us through the beautiful Woburn Park in Befordshire. The park includes tranquil ponds, pretty Orchards and a 3000 acre deer park. There's also the splendid Woburn Abbey - a stunning country house which is the seat of the Duke of Bedford.The deer park is home to Red, fallow, Pere David’s, barasingha, muntjac, Manchurian sika, rusa, axis & Chinese water deer We will also be walking through Apsley Heath - 800 acre stunning woodland with Sandy paths, is a mixture of conifer woodland with some areas of semi-ancient woodland and heathland
Please be advised, the deer are not fenced off and are free to rome. We will keep to the footpaths and maintain distance from the deer. It is important that EVERYONE in the Park follows all safety signage whilst on site.
