Shelley Lake Walk

We’ll walk briskly twice around Shelley Lake, once in each direction for a total of about 4 miles, stopping to see wildlife along the way. We will pause around sunset near the eagles nest in hopes of seeing one or both of Shelley’s resident pair. On our last Shelley walk we saw 3 eagles. We’ll surely see deer and great blue herons. Option to walk only once around but best chances of successful sitings are around sunset. We should be back to the parking lot before dark but it might be a good idea to bring a flashlight. Also bring your binocs if you have them.
