Join us Tuesday evening, December 3 for the final "formal" meetup of 2024! Can you believe 2024 is almost over?

The topic is an incredibly interesting one - Enterprise AI: Models vs Code. And the speaker, Burr Sutter, Global Director, Developer Experience at Red Hat, is a perennial favorite. He's packed rooms, including the keynote ballrooms, at All Things Open for years.

Doors will open at 6:00 pm sharp - show up early and network, get a t-shirt/hat/sticker, and grab some pizza and drinks. Live programming begins at 6:30 pm ET with a few announcements, then we'll turn it over to Burr.

Directions:
1). Enter IBM campus from Miami Boulevard and Cornwallis Road,
2). Follow signs for IBM Software Group Main Lobby B500 and take third left (DEVELOPMENT LANE) toward Main Lobby 500.
3). Park into the Visitor Parking lot which is in the front of the B500. You will be escorted from the building entrance/lobby.

Talk Title: Enterprise AI: Models vs Code

Abstract:
*This will be an extended version of a keynote talk he recently delivered in NYC and will include a (very) cool demo. In this lightning fast keynote with LIVE demonstration, we will provide an example of enterprise application development, where DevSecOps embraces AI/ML and Large Language Models including: Backstage, Mistral, Kubernetes, Jupyter, KubeFlow, Python, Llama, Tekton, InstructLab, ArgoCD, Java, Granite, and much more.

Bio:
A lifelong developer advocate, community organizer, and technology evangelist, Burr Sutter is a featured speaker at technology events around the globe, from Bangalore to Brussels and Berlin to Bali (and most parts in between).He is currently Red Hat’s Global Director of Developer Experience. A Java Champion since 2005 and former president of the Atlanta Java User Group, Burr founded the DevNexus conference, now the largest Java event in the U.S. with the aim of making access to the world’s leading software educators affordable to the developer community. When not speaking abroad, Burr focuses on product strategy for Red Hat’s developer facing technologies.
