Opt-outside Black Friday Hike

We will hike the 7.8 mile John Bull Loop on the Mokelumne Coast to Crest Trail on East Bay Municipal Utility District watershed lands in Calaveras County. There will be 925' of elevation gain. We will pass the historic Wildermuth House and get great views from John Bull Peak. Meet at the Campo Seco Staging Area/Wildermuth House Trailhead on Campo Seco Road no later than 10 AM. Bring sturdy hiking boots, layers of clothing, water, lunch/snack, hiking poles. I have a trail pass good for myself plus 3 other hikers. Let me know if you also have a trail pass. Rain postpones. The rain date will be Saturday Nov 30 or, if necessary, Sunday Dec 1.
