Talk 2: Today I hoist, tomorrow I build - Dependency Management, but the right way, with pnpm
Speaker: Daniel Zenzes

Do we actually know which dependencies we are using in our front-end projects? For sure? In monorepos that are built with yarn or npm, this is often not so easy to say and can quickly lead to problems. This is not only the fault of the tools, but sometimes also of us developers.

In this talk, Daniel reports on the problems that can occur with monorepos and why a switch to pnpm can be worthwhile. He illustrates how pnpm helps to solve these challenges and how the migration is carried out successfully step by step. At the end, he shows why the migration is worthwhile and where pnpm is no help.
