The Atlanta Joie de Vivre group is for those who love anything French! We do conversation groups, wine tastings, fashion shows, film nights, lectures, art and photo exhibits, concerts... un peu de tout (a little bit of everything). We also have ¨French in the City¨ series where we meet up in different places throughout Metro-Atlanta for real-life conversation practice, all while enjoying what the city has to offer :-)

This Meetup enjoys events hosted by French language organizations such as the Alliance Française d'Atlanta, Théâtre du Rêve, Atlanta Toulouse Sister Cities Committee, French Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Consulate General of Switzerland, Consulte General of Belgium, and France-Atlanta, as well as places such as the High Museum of Art, SCAD Fash, Atlanta Accueill, Goethe Zentrum, local universities, and Atlanta restaurants and businesses that from time to time feature French/Francophone theme activities.
The Atlanta Joie de Vivre group welcomes everyone with a love for the French/Francophone language and culture. So whether you speak French fluently, just a little, or not at all, come join us! It's all about having fun and meeting great people!

Join Dave and the Atlanta French Language Meetup for French conversation, a glass of wine or a bite to eat all in an ambient, cozy setting.

Due to staffing limitations, Après Diem is not able to take individual orders as in the past.
Those attending must purchase a ticket ($10, CASH ONLY).
That will cover the $1 meetup fee and $9 (includes tax and tip) for a glass of beer or wine (or soft drink, coffee, tea). Food orders are handled separately (via credit card) with our server.
Please write your name on the back of the ticket. One ticket will be drawn later that night for an Après Diem gift certificate.
**Parking: please note that Midtown Promenade shopping center is now paid parking. The first 2 hours are free. Your license plate is scanned as you enter and leave the parking lot. If you haven't scanned the QR code and registered, and you exceed 2 hours, they'll send you a bill (with an additional penalty if you fail to pay after 30 days). The good news: Après Diem has another QR code that members of the Atlanta French Language Meetup can scan for more free time.

***Thank you for your interest in the Alliance Française national conversation groups on Zoom. These sessions are intended for current dues-paying members of Alliance Française and AATF chapters, adults (17 and up), who have an intermediate, advanced or fluent/native command of French.

The Alliance Francaise of Portland’s free weekly conversation group on Zoom, run by board members and other volunteers, is available for a members drop-in conversation on Wednesday nights from 8:00-9:00 Eastern Time.
It attracts 20-30 registrants who converse in small groups (Breakout Rooms) of 4-5 people for 3-4 segments of 14 minutes. The groups get re-created/mixed so that everyone gets to chat with a new group of people for the next cycle, and so on. Participants are mainly from Oregon and Southern Washington but also hail from other states.
This conversation group is for high-intermediate/advanced and native speakers. Only French is spoken in the sessions.

Bonjour! Join us for French language practice and conversation at Café Clément in Marietta! It's a great cafe with good coffee/tea, pastries, and lunch dishes. It's a great chance for informal, low-pressure conversation, and to meet other francophones and francophiles. Since this is a conversation group, some knowledge of French is best, but all levels welcome from beginner to native. En espérant vous voir là!
