Support/social group for people with autism and ADHD (including self-diagnosed and suspecting) to connect, unmask, and offload. All attendees are welcome to share what is present for them, receive support from the group, and/or bring up a topic they particularly want to discuss. Don't think about it too much - just show up and let yourself go with what feels best in the moment :)
Accessibility/format: Verbal/visual participation is encouraged, but not required. Live transcription/closed captioning available. You're welcome to come and go as feels comfortable. You can lurk off camera and say nothing, just be in the chat, talk a lot, or whatever is your jam that day.
Structure: Host(s) (Taylor usually hosts the first half, and Sam takes over for the latter half) will introduce themself, explain the structure and offer a question prompt. Participants who would like to speak can raise their hand on zoom to get in the queue (reactions>raise hand). When it is your turn you are welcome to talk about any, or some, or none of the following:
- introduce yourself
- share updates about your life/week
- talk about a special interest or hyperfixation
- ask for support or input from the group
- answer the question prompt
All participants are welcome to respond to whoever is talking if they feel like it.
