🍁 Connection comes in many forms. Our gatherings are platonic, fun, deep, meaningful, consent based, sober, and supportive.
Come practice being truly seen, heard and understood, and providing that (seeing, hearing, and understanding) care to others.
We will play and practice various connection and communication games using methods of authentic relating, Mindfulness, Playfulness, being intentional with our words and actions, NVC (non violent communication), movement practices, and other techniques. We will be in a large group, small groups, and one-on-one (e.g., various formats for different activities).
You are always at choice and can choose from game to game, moment to moment, how to participate or witness. We welcome all people to be true to themselves, change their minds when they need to, and respect the word "no", as much as the word "yes", and the variations of overlap in between. Receiving a "no," is not considered rejection or anti-social at our events. Choosing to say "no", to witness rather than participate, or to partially participate are all choices that are considered self-honoring. When we can trust a person to say "no", we can trust that person's "yes" even more.
☀️Whether you attend solo or with others (a friend, family member, a partner, or partners), all relationship styles, genders, LGBTQ+, non gender conforming folx, Hetero people, Neuro typical, Neuro diverse (and all other expressions and identities) are welcome.
Led by licensed Therapist, Charity Loring, LMSW of Loring Therapy LLC
