Volunteer at Manna Food Bank's NEW location & then attend Friendsgiving!

November 20th is going to be an EPIC AVL Digital Nomad day!! Think of it - helping Manna Food bank at their new location and then heading to Devil's Foot to attend our 3rd annual Friendsgiving!

Hurricane Helene devastated our community, leaving behind a trail of destruction that affected us all.

But now, it's our turn as AVL Digital Nomads to give back and help rebuild what was lost.

Manna Food Bank, which had been a cornerstone of our volunteer efforts, saw its warehouse destroyed in the storm, temporarily halting our monthly volunteer work. However, WE ARE BACK, and Manna has welcomed us to lend a hand once again.

On Wednesday, 11/20/24, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, we'll be volunteering at Manna’s new location 99 Broadpoint Dr, Mills River, NC 28759 for a three-hour shift (rather than our previous 2 hour shift). We encourage you to donate just three hours of your time to help our community.

The last time we volunteered together, we sorted tomatoes just six days before the hurricane hit—those tomatoes likely ended up on our neighbors' plates, and maybe even our own. Your time and effort can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors, loved ones, and the entire community as we continue to recover and rebuild.
