Austin Badminton Squad

If you are a badminton enthusiast who just wants to enjoy the game without the fuss, then this is the group for you!

The Badminton Squad offers an opportunity for like-minded players to practise or improve your badminton skills, socialise and have some fun together.

Players will be in a loosely structured format, mainly to ensure everyone has a chance to play with each other. Players do not have to attend the entire duration, however, the price is the same. You are free to choose if you prefer to play in doubles or singles.

We operate in an environment of mutual respect and camaraderie, we do not tolerate any form of verbal abuse. From time to time, we may include some social events depending on the preference of the players.

Our location is at Rykneld Sports Center in Derby, we play on Saturdays from 1200 - 1400.

The event fee is £5 per person for 2 hours. You can pay through PayPal, bank transfer or with cash when you arrive.

We will provide the shuttlecocks. Please note that occasionally we may use feather shuttlecocks.

Just come with a racket and a good badminton spirit!
