Woolloongabba Board Game Club is here- Are you ready to play?

Are you interested in learning strategic board games skills from experienced players? Come along to The Mustard Seed on the last Saturday of each month to be part of Woolloongabba Board Game Club. We have a wide selection of games to choose from and once covid-restrictions are over, we welcome you to bring along your own to show us your skills. We welcome new members and there is no cost to attend.

The Mustard Seed is a community hub in Woolloongabba that offers a wide range of events, workshops and clubs. You are sure to enjoy playing a game or two on our comfy vintage couches and feel at home....in our home.

Before you attend, please read through the following FAQ's so you know what to expect before attending.

FAQ's
Parking
Being an inner city community hub, parking can be difficult during peak times. Please check with Woolloongabba Stadium if there is a match on as parking can be restricted before, during and after match time. There are usually street parking available on Trafalgar and Nile street.

Covid restrictions
We follow all the current government directives for covid restrictions. If Covid cases increase dramatically, we will postpone the board game club for that month. We ask all who plan on attending Woolloongabba Board Game Club to adhere to the safety precautions that are in place at the time the club meets. If you are unwell, please stay at home. If you have been in contact with anyone who has covid, please stay at home. Keep social distance while at The Mustard Seed and sign in using the Check in app.

Food and Drink
Depending on the current restrictions, we usually offer free afternoon tea, cuppa and cool drinks. If there are restrictions in place regarding food and drink, we will skip that part while playing board games. Our Covid-safe checklist requires us to restrict eating and playing board games to be in seperate areas. Hands are washed before and after eating food. Drinks are allowed while playing board games.

Attendance
Pre-covid this group was a HUGE group. Due to covid-safe requirements, we are restricted to the number of people/m2. So please RSVP only if you intend to attend. There are usually a heap of people on the waiting list, so we kindly ask you attend if say you will.
