#### Post punk, garage rockers The Libertines return to Australia in 2025.

The 'Don't Look Back Into The Sun' and 'Can't Stand Me Now' hitmakers land down under for the first time since 2018, with headlining concerts in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane next April.

The notorious rock & roll ragamuffins were at the apex of indie rock in the early 2000s (alongside the likes of The Strokes and The Vines) led by vocalist-guitarist co-frontmen Pete Doherty and Carl Barat.

The Libertines released two albums during their first incarnation including their 2002 debut 'Up The Bracket' (featuring 'Time For Heroes' and the title song), and the 2004 self-titled follow-up that contained 'Can't Stand Me Now' alongside fan favourites 'Music When The Lights Go Out' and 'What Katie Did'.

After internal conflicts and well-documented substance abuse issues within the band, The Libertines broke up in late 2004, reuniting briefly in 2010 to play Leeds and Reading festivals before reforming officially in 2014.

They released their third studio album 'Anthems For Doomed Youth' a year later, the record containing 'Gunga Din' and 'You're My Waterloo', and led to a sustained period of international touring.

Earlier this year, The Libertines returned with their first record in almost a decade dropping 'All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade' that delivered three genius singles, 'Run, Run, Run', 'Night Of The Hunter', and 'Shiver' – and earned the band their second #1 UK album following their 2004 self-titled album.
