The Broward county Florida SOLIDWORKS User Group (BFLSWUG) network is to empower real people who use SOLIDWORKS products to collaborate with, learn from, and teach others. Connect with us anytime, anywhere, on any device for in-depth technical conversations and face to face networking.
BFLSWUG is planning to meet at least four times a year. These meetings will include presentations from SolidWorks VARs, CAD related businesses and other BFLSWUG members.
There will also be break out sessions, contests, great prize giveaways and great food!
This group is open to anyone with an interest in expanding their knowledge of SolidWorks and related technologies utilized in design & engineering fields. BFLSWUG membership is open to everyone. We hope to see you at the next meeting! You need not be a current SolidWorks customer and membership is free of charge.
BFLSWUG is part of the SolidWorks User Group Network which consists of more than 250 groups and tens of thousands of users across 25 countries.

Hello Everyone
I’m happy to announce that we have scheduled another in-person user group meeting. This will be our last meeting for 2024 and the meeting will be on Tuesday December 10th 2024 and start at 6:00 pm. We will be at the same location as the last meeting. Decimal Engineering in Coral Springs, see below for their address. The presenters will be Ryan Burgess and Chris Cuchaine from Trimech.About the presenters and their presentations, Ryan Burgess Solutions Consultant with Trimech a Solidworks Value Added Reseller. Prior to joining TriMech, Ryan was working in Industrial Design. He has developed products in the music accessory industry as well as the building materials industry. Ryan enjoys all things building and making. He has built a kayak, refinished vintage furniture, worked on remote-controlled electronics, ceramics, welding, 3D printing and more.Ryan is based out of Tampa Florida. He will be doing an in-person presentation of “What’s New 2025”, He will discuss and demonstrate some of the most notable enhancements coming to SOLIDWORKS in the upcoming year.
Chris Cuchaine is an Elite Application Engineer with 10 years of engineering experience using CAD to design mechanical and electromechanical systems in the industrial equipment industry. He has worked for over 14+ years for SOLIDWORKS value-added resellers and at TriMech. Also, a leader for 2.5 years of Northern Vermont SOLIDWORKS User Group. Chris is based out of South Carolina. He will also be doing an in-person presentation that utilizes custom properties to streamline documentation and standardize templates in SolidWorks. This presentation is designed for SolidWorks users looking to enhance efficiency and consistency in their drawing workflows.
We will follow up with a Q & A session with them. As always, we will start out with food and networking and finish up with door prizes. Come out and have some fun! Please forward this meeting to any SolidWorks user that you think would be interested in attending the meeting.
