Basic Buddhism Class With Reverend Roche

Join us for Basic Buddhism Class!

On the last Sunday of each month we welcome the esteemed Reverend Roche into our space in Meriden through the magic of zoom!

Rev. Kevin joyfully leads a diverse Buddhist community of 400+ practitioners at Rissho Kosei Kai San Antonio and will also be instructing our in-person Basic Buddhism class here in Connecticut.

We are a warm-hearted and inquisitive small group of practitioners and we’d love to meet others who would like to study Buddhism with us! Our class is very accessible, has no homework or attendance requirements, and is free.

The inspiring and joyful path of Buddhism is available to all and offers practical and time-honored wisdom for navigating life’s challenges.

General description of meetings (we meet every week and host Basic Buddhism class on the last Sunday of the month):

UUCM, in partnership with the international lay Buddhist organization Rissho Kosei-Kai, will host a weekly in-person gathering each Sunday from 6pm-7pm.

**Our gathering is free, inclusive and affirming, and we'd love for you to join and become part of our spiritual journey! Each week we have a small service and then discuss Buddhist teachings and how to implement these in our lives. The last week of the month we host Basic Buddhism class!

Please join us as we explore Buddhist teachings and practices that foster awareness, compassion, and peace within ourselves, our community, and the world.
