The purpose of Eckankar is to make God an everyday reality in your life.
The community of ECKists in Canberra is full of people who have searched for truth and spiritual freedom, and discovered a renewed sense of spiritual growth through the ECK teachings.
The purpose of this Meet Up group is to provide access to events, so like-minded people can discuss spiritual topics. It is not necessary to be a member of Eckankar nor join.

Sound of Soul event is a monthly online gathering for you to experience the vibration of a 20-minute HU song, potentially develop spiritual awareness, and appreciate respectful insight and discussion with others who value the spiritual principles that underpin existence.
Sound of Soul is sponsored by Eckankar, the Path of Spiritual Freedom, as a community service.
HU has been used for thousands of years as a prayer and sacred chant to attune yourself to the presence of God, or the Spirit of Goodness. Millions of people around the world experience the calm and joy of HU each day.Anyone can sing HU silently or aloud, regardless of age, culture, or religion. It is a simple technique that can be used as part of your daily spiritual practice. It has the power to uplift you spiritually—bring inner peace, healing, and insight that can help you improve the enjoyment of your own life.
Singing HU is a gift to yourself. Enjoying the experience of Sound of Soul events regularly may expand your experience of HU and bring further insight and awareness of divine love at work in your life.
