Hi all

This is a moderately challenging loop with some steep sections and rocky areas. A moderate level of fitness is required and we will be walking at a decent pace. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring poles if you usually require them.

We’ll stop about half way and have a quick break by the river.

Note that the trail on AllTrails says this walk is 8.2kms however we will do a slightly longer walk. We will also do this walk in reverse, starting with the fire trail and ending with the walk along the gorge.

Pack enough water, sun protection and snacks. If it rains, this event will be cancelled due to the terrain.

Part of the road driving to the starting point is unsealed however is in good condition.
