Kay & Ted are (temporarily) back from their travels far and wide, so it's time to get your bikes out and catch up with them (literally as they've bought e-bikes!) while they lead you on the extended Fernleigh Track which now starts at Blacksmiths.

You'll ride to the end of the track at Adamstown, enjoy a break over lunch at Gates Hotel, then return.

A great outing for the cyclists, and a chance to work off some calories before Christmas!

**Cycling Distance:** approx 36 km return at a leisurely pace

**What to Bring:** Water, Bike Gear, Enclosed Shoes, Sun Protection, $$ for lunch

**Meeting Point:** Outside the amenities block on Pelican Foreshore (Cnr of Lakeview Pde & Makoro St)

**What is the Fernleigh Track?**
The Fernleigh Track is a shared pathway built on a former railway line and from Blacksmiths it passes thru Belmont, Jewells, Redhead, Whitebridge and Kahibah to reach Adamstown.
It is away from the roads, paved, shaded in parts, and winds thru peaceful bushland and wetland with heritage railway relics to be spotted along the way.
A highlight of the Fernleigh track is the 181m long rail tunnel on the approach to Adamstown.
