What we’re about
Welcome to the Clean Collective! We are a group of impact-driven, climate-conscious startup people and investors based in and around Belgium. We regularly host small gatherings for people to meet up with their peers, and share experiences through meaningful discussions. And we're always looking for people who aim to make a positive impact on the environment and society through business and technology.

We are Clean Collective, we bring together impact-driven, climate-conscious startup people around Belgium.
This winter we focus on data-driven climate tech with a cosy dinner featuring Nick Van Berckelaer, Head of Software Product Development at ecoinvent.
ecoinvent is a Swiss-based data organisation that supports many start-ups & larger companies with environmental data. They are famous in the world of climate tech for providing data that supports Life cycle assessment, carbon accounting and especially scope 3 emission data. Their extensive datasets and emission factors enable many climate-focused SAAS tools to bring their insights.Nick will bring the story of how data can bring environmental impact and how great vision brings a smooth collaborating software team.
Hannes D'Hulster, the product lead at Smooth Sailing, will support Nicks story with insights from ‘a 100 interviews with impact start-ups’. He will connect the story of ecoinvent with those of the many impact tech start-ups we’ve interviewed.
