Camel's Hump climbing (Unless it's raining or silly cold)!! The trip will be suitable for people of all experience levels - beginners and those who've never done it before are more than welcome to come. Leaders and anchor setters please come join the fun too. We'll aim to arrive there between 9:00 - 9:30, and cars/drivers will be organised closer to the date. All going well, we'll be finishing up around 4pm, followed by a stop-over on the way home at the pub for dinner. Equipment needed: - Climbing Helmet (bike / snowboard helmets are not acceptable) - Harness - Climbing Shoes These will need to be organised the week before the trip (the gear room is fairly accommodating, and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays - see roc.org.au). The rest of the rock-climbing gear we need will be taken care of for you. Apart from your own climbing things, you'll also need: - lunch (to eat) - rain jacket (if it rains) - at least 2L water (VERY IMPORTANT) - snacks (to snack on) - Hiking shoes to walk in (that aren't climbing shoes) - a backpack to put everything in Costs: $10 for gear hire and petrol costs will be divided amongst passengers, but usually does not come to more than $20. Please bring cash on the day and don't forget the pub meal afterwards too. Let me know if you've got any questions.
See you all there!
