If you're interested in joining an outdoor bouldering trip at some point, this is intended as a skills prep session for those new to it.
The first outdoor bouldering trip can sometimes be a bit painful and discouraging, so we'd like to help by explaining basic challenges in more friendly environment.

- Bouldering Outdoors Ethics;
- Spotting;
- Crashpads Management;
- Sit Starts practice;
- General bouldering tips;
- Risks of Topping out;
We'll start at 7pm and it will take about 1- 1.5 hours. After the training we'll stay a bit longer to climb if people are keen.
Equipment needed:
- Climbing Shoes
- If you don't have your own shoes, they're available for hire at the ROC gear room, open Tuesdays and Thursday 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Shoe hire will be free for the session, but a $50 cash deposit is required.
Crashpads will be arranged for you.
