Whether you have been in it for a while or whether you are just starting out in your journey, you're invited to join me and other people of like mind for a coffee and chat! Share some experiences, tips and encouragement with fellow entrepreneurs.

This meetup event is for entrepreneurs of all stages. Whether you have been in it for a while or whether you are just starting out in your journey, you're invited to join me and other people of like mind for a coffee and chat! There won't be name tags or standing up to present, it's very, very casual and a great environment for true networking.
Don't worry if you're running late, or need to leave early. We all need to run a business and live life. I'll be at the venue at the allocated time, but you're welcome to come and leave as you please. Even if you only have 30 minutes it will be great to hear your story.

How to Find Us
I'll be sitting at one tables near the entrance. You can also check out this video to know what I look like before you come so you know who to approach! I'll make sure where I'm sitting, is visible when you come in.Why did you start the Coffee with Arthur events?
In June 2022 I was at the local cafe, tapping away on my laptop and I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be nice to meet some business people, for a coffee and chat?" So I put my first event up and pressed "PUBLISH" and here we are!How many people attend each event?
I have these events listed on Eventbrite and Meetup, and I can never tell, how many people will turn up. I also don't keep stats. The best thing to consider is, if you want to join me and others for a coffee and a chat then come.Why don't you take photos at your events?
I don't take group photos. This is a decision to respect everyone's privacy. You are welcome to take photos with individuals or even myself if you like, just no group photos.Can I expect to get a lot of leads or business collaboration?
This event is more for business people to connect and have a bit of time out. If you get leads or business collaborations (and it does happen at times) that is a bonus!Am I expected to come every time?
No. Some people come more often, some people come once every six months. Some people come once and decide it's not for them. Just come when it suits you.Do I need to RSVP to come?
It's better to RSVP even if you're not entirely sure you can make it, this is so I can send you a message if there are last minute cancellations like illness, venue issues, or broken down car etc. Also, Don't be embarrassed if you RSVP and can't make it! There's always a next time.Hold on! What's the catch?

The Cafe is located on Springfield Road near the corner of Middlebororough Road and Springfield Road. There is a lot of parking onsite, and a bus stops at that corner too.Once you get there, follow the signs in the building to get to the Cafe. Running a business or thinking about running a business? Coffee with Arthur virtual meeting is short, sweet and hopefully a place where you can hang out and connect with a few other people of liked mind.

Who is this meeting suitable for?
1. People who would like to meet a few others virtually
2. People who would like to get to know me before turning up to a physical event
3. People who can't make it to the physical event, but would like to keep connected with Coffee with Arthur
4. People who have attended the physical events but would like to hear a little bit about my experiences.So here is what I'd like to try to bring to the virtual session, that I've enjoyed bringing to you in the physical session.
1. Casual and Relaxed
I've always loved that the events have been casual and relaxing for everyone, It's up to you what you wear, what you drink, you don't even have to have your camera on! Just pop in and join me.2. Networking.
No standing up and introducing yourself, no name tags required. We will use the chat function during the session to drop your linkedin or other social account details (not personal email). Then after the session get to know each person for as long as you need.3. Sharing Experience.
Usually I get to sit down and share an experience or story in business with a few people. I'll spend a short time to share a business experience with you and a thought about networking. Take what you like from it, throw out the rest.This will allow a time to come together, share some details and then take your new contacts and have a conversation over the the weeks or months to come.
So expect, a short sweet session, with lots of technical issues, and hopefully you will get to meet a few others of like mind and learn a bit out my business and Coffee with Arthur journey!

FAQ
What if I'm late, or need to leave early?
Just like the physical event, you are welcomed to come and go as you please. A few minutes late because you're waiting for your kettle to boil? Don't Stress! Need to leave early something else? You're welcomed to leave early. I'll keep my stories brief so even if you come halfway you won't miss out on too much.Why are you encouraging people to drop a linkedin link and not a personal email?
With Social Media you are in more control of the conversation, it is easier to connect and see what each person is about, Also it is easier to block if things don't go well. Emails may end up on lists if you're not careful because we never know who joins the sessions.Why aren't you getting everyone in the session to have an input?
If everyone have 5 minutes, the session can easily blow out to a long session. To save everyone from a lot of "Can you hear me?" "Can you hear me?" I'll take the floor and run the event.Will you cancel the event if there is only 1 participant?
Whether there is 1 or 100 RSVPs, the session will go on! I have had as little as 2 people turn up to Coffee with Arthur physically and the sessions had not been cancelled, the virtual event will be no different. Worse comes to worse, you can connect with me!Why Friday Night?
Friday Night is a great wind down time for me, and a day that I can confidently say that I will be at home. So if you're not heading out partying, join me here, and meet with a few other people along the way.I love what you do and want to support you!
