What we’re about
We are building a community of people interested in breathwork who want to build connections with like minded people who wish to learn together how to tap into the inner wisdom of the body through conscious connected breathwork journeys set to evocative music. We begin with a circle and discuss themes related to wellness, self awareness and spiritual growth. After the breathwork there is always a time to share our experiences and then a social time. There are sessions every month in person and online in community halls in the Cambridge area and on zoom

What is Breathe the Tarot?
I invite you to explore the universal themes from the tarot through a breathwork healing journey where you will experience the amazing effects of conscious connected breathwork on emotional mood, physical wellness, mental clarity and spiritual connection. My music and guidance for this journey will be inspired by Card 14 of the major Arcana - Temperance. This card is about bringing moderation and balance into our lives so that we can feel centred and calm. Another main theme is healing and well being. There is also an element of synthesis and combining different elements or forces. So it seems very fitting to breathe with rose quartz for self love and self care and with amethyst for balance and moderation. As well as being the stone to protect against excess, amethyst supports the transmuting of negative emotions and balancing of extremes of mood, along with enhanced visualisation. Rose quartz heals the heart centre, encourages self acceptance and self worth, transmuting negative emotions into positive ones to promote calm. We will have one of each in hand during the breathe and it will be a gentle journey, more like a free breathe to focus on healing. There will be an opportunity to receive healing from me during the breathe as well while you find inspiration from these ideas and breathe with them on a conscious connected breath journey.I am a certified breathwork facilitator and I will guide you throughout. No experience is necessary, just come along with an open mind and the willingness to breathe in community with like minded souls. There will be a wonderful, evocative music to help you access your inner wisdom through this special yet simple form of breathwork. We have time before and after to talk and share our experiences as we combine forces to co create a wonderful and safe space for personal development and transformation. The event has four main parts to it as follows:
Part One: Exploring the theme
We begin with a guided introduction to the main themes inspired by this tarot card. We will talk or do activities in either in small groups or open circle to discover where you want to go with this theme.
Part Two: Getting ready to breathe
You can listend to an explanation of the method and benefits of the conscious connected breath and you are invited to create a breathing nest with your cushions, blankets and mats (please bring these with you) to be comfortable when you go deep into our healing journey, using the conscious connected breathing method.
Part Three: Your Breathwork Healing Journey
We are then ready to go deep into a conscious connected breathwork healing journey. I will guide you in both the style of breath (including adaptations) and the themes to breathe into, as I play my evocative music playlist curated around the messages of the card. Personal healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level is welcomed into your individual experience. both the breath and the theme as I play you a specially compiled playlist of evocative music curated around the themes of the tarot card. Personal growth and healing is welcomed into your very individual experience, whether you follow these themes or spontaneously go on a different journey as you breathe.
