DC Gaming Group (DCGG) is a club organization created to foster connections within the DMV gaming community. Together, we can explore new games, support independent game developers, and check out local events.

DCGG welcomes gamers of all walks of life to come together and play—console players, PC gamers, tabletop enthusiasts, mobile players—we don’t judge!
Our goal is to bring folks with different gaming preferences together in the same community. Whether you like single player adventures, fighters, shooters, or sports games, we provide a community where you can share your passion with other gamers.

Are you ready to put down that book and pick up that controller? When you think of “the Classics” does Mario or Shakespeare come to mind? Do you consider Moby Dick just one long water level? Then the DC Gaming Group Game Club is for you. If you know what a book club is, you know what this is. Each month we will select a game that matches our criteria, beat it, and then come together to discuss our thoughts on the game. Even if you have already played the game, you are welcome at discussion <3
How to Participate:
1. Get the Game
This month, Game Club will discuss Sea of Stars!!2. Play at your own pace and join us in Discord for monthly discussions and feels.
3. Join us for the full discussion by RSVPing to this meetup and joining Discord (https://discord.gg/vuefymS). Look for the #GameClub channel.
4. Plan the next game!

There is nothing like the suspense and joy of unwrapping a holiday gift from someone you care about. To get into the season and celebrate how much our community has grown over the past year, DCGG will be hosting a very silly and festive Random Secret Santa.
How to Participate in the Random Secret Santa Exchange
- Bring a small wrapped gift
- Only folks who bring a gift are able to participate
- Get a ticket when you Check in
- Santa will randomly distribute the gifts to folks with tickets
Rules on What to Gift
- Must be wrapped
- (DCGG will have some spare paper at event, but not a ton)
- If a new item, max retail value is $20
- If a household item, must be lightly used or in good condition
- Must be an item you would want to receive (Good examples: unused novelty sponges, Mario Figurine. Bad Examples: A wrench. Pack of lightbulbs)
- If food, must be sealed and unopened.
- Please avoid vulgar items or anything gross.
- Gift are highly encourage to be stupid and fun, but still valuable to the recipient

Add some fire and flavor to your hump day with a DCGG gaming happy hour at Fat Pete’s BBQ in Cleveland Park.
Fat Petes has long been a friend to the DC Nerd Community and has opened up a private space for DC Gaming Group members new and old to blow off some steam with some Switch Arcade games, board games, and great food and drink.
Players of all interests and experience levels are welcome! This happy hour is a space for gamers who are interested in meeting new nerds, learning new games, and who value people over points.
We will have a variety of games including classics like Card Against Humanity and Mario Kart plus whatever new arcade and board games y’all bring ;-)Agenda:
7:00pm - 7:35pm - We FEAST! Grab some bbq and drinks and get together with other guests at the reserved DCGG Feast Tables
7:35pm - Random Secret Santa Exchange!
