Lecture: "Using our Methods to Remove Disturbing Emotions and Obstacles on the Way"
Sunday 1 December at 4pm
From the basic emotions of attachment and aversion arise many other sources of disturbance and suffering in our lives. Through Diamond Way Buddhist meditation methods, these disturbances can be transformed into limitless and spontaneous wisdom, joy, fearlessness and active compassion.
In this lecture we'll learn how to corral the disturbances that block our mind's enlightened nature. Buddhism's most profound teachings say that even behind our most disturbing thoughts and feelings is enlightened wisdom.
We will present how one can integrate Buddhist teachings and meditation into our every day lives, providing the tools we need to transform the emotional ups and downs we experience into a state of awareness and joy.
As our disturbing feelings dissolve, we are able to experience the true nature of mind more and more: a state of space and bliss inseparable.
Please join us to find out more, ask any questions that you have, and take part in a guided meditation.
Our program is suitable for beginners and there is plenty of time for individual questions.
Lots of free parking; meditation cushions and mats are provided. The regular program is free of charge.
