Trafalgar Toastmasters provides a supportive & positive learning environment in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self confidence and personal growth.

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere. There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.

LOOKING TO IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND DEVELOP YOUR CONFIDENCE?
Public speaking can feel daunting but you don’t have to approach it alone. By joining our live, online meetings you can learn the skills required to become an engaging speaker and develop the leadership presence you desire. The success of our one hour weekly sessions is our structured program.
This consists of three sections:
• Impromptu speaking which engages the participant to think on their
feet;
• Prepared speeches that are delivered by members with the guidance of
a mentor; and
• Evaluation section which assesses the speakers and the session as a
whole.

The combination of these elements help to foster confident individuals who can communicate in a calm and effective manner. If you are looking to enhance your leadership skills, overcome your fears, talk to large crowds, find ease in small talk, impress at interviews, run a meeting like a pro, or enhance your presentation skills our Club can help. City Center Toastmasters has been running for 25 years. This not-for-profit organization has been around for a long time because it really works.
