What we’re about

DiverticalPhilly is a community that organizes events for adults who identify as neurodivergent. Whether you're on the autism spectrum, have ADHD, anxiety, or any other neurodiverse identity, this group is for you. We value diversity and seek to create a safe, judgment-free space where everyone can be their authentic selves.

We're all about going out and doing exciting activities, both in the vibrant city of Philadelphia and the beautiful Main Line area, providing a supportive space for neurodivergent individuals and allies to have fun while celebrating diversity.

Here are some examples of potential activities provided within our group:

  • Movies: Join us for movie nights where go to theaters to watch films, from documentaries to blockbusters, fostering discussion and connections within our community.
  • Museums: We explore the rich cultural heritage of Philadelphia by visiting museums and exhibitions, delving into art, science, history, and more, all while creating lasting bonds among our members.
  • Restaurants: We dine out at various eateries in both Philadelphia and the Main Line, sharing culinary interests and enjoying diverse cuisines while building meaningful relationships.
  • Outdoor Adventures: Experience the beauty of nature with our outdoor outings, which include picnics in scenic parks, invigorating hikes, and even kayaking trips, providing an opportunity to connect outdoors.
  • Game Nights: Our game nights feature board games, card games, and video games, offering a fun and relaxing environment to showcase your gaming prowess and bond with fellow members. Game nights can be remote or in-person.
  • Workshops and Classes: Our group offers workshops and classes, covering a wide range of topics, from art and cooking to self-advocacy, encouraging personal growth and skill development.
