What we’re about
This is a group where fellow artists can get together and draw/sketch/paint/etc. Please see our rules below before joining.
Anyone should join who likes working on art and being around other artists of all levels and backgrounds. This is a group where we can share experiences, discuss our work, work on our projects, and hang out with other artists in an inclusive social setting. The event takes place every Monday from about 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. During that time, you can draw by yourself, draw with others or discuss different projects.
Our Rules:
1. BE NICE. Disrespect is not welcome here.
2. ADULTS ONLY. The MeetUp website requires all registered users to be over 18 and we comply with that and expect attendees to be 18 or older. Also, please be aware that mature/adult themes frequently come up in artwork and conservation. If explicit artwork and sexual themes concern you, this is not the right group for you.
3. BUY SOMETHING. When we have our meetings in eateries, they generously allow us “free” use of their spaces on the condition that we purchase something. So please, buy a food or drink item so we can continue to mutually benefit.
This does not apply to our library meetups.
4. NO ADVERTISING. Please do not advertise or attempt to sell products on the webpage or at the meetings. We are not a marketplace, we are here to make art and socialize.
5. DON’T MAKE A MESS. We work out of eateries and libraries, not art studios. Space is also limited. Please only bring art projects that do not take up a lot of space and that do not make a mess. We want to leave the space nicer than we found it.
