A nightime epic. Following the Burdiehouse Burn in almost total darkness to the Royal Infirmary where we’ll venture up to Danderhall before exploring the campus of the bio quarter and climbing up to Craigmillar Castle, Inch Park and returning via the Hermitage of Braid and the Braid Burn. Not for the faint hearted.

Unsure how to fix a puncture or service a bike?

Our four-week cycle maintenance course will equip you with all the knowledge, skills and confidence to undertake the work yourself.

The course is informal, social and above all fun.

Week 1 - 01/11 - Puncture repair

Week 2 - 08/11 - Replace brake cable and adjust brakes

Week 3 - 15/11 - Replace rear derailleur cable and index gears

Week 4 - 22/11 - Replace front derailleur cable and adjust
