How We Relate To Animals - Edgar’s Mission Tour and Coffee/Lunch
Details
Join me on a guided tour that aims to increase our awareness of how we think about and relate to animals, fostering compassion and respect for all of them.
Pam Ahern, Founder of Edgar’s Mission says it is 'a not-for-profit sanctuary for rescued farmed animals that seeks to create a humane and just world for all. The rescued residents became ambassadors for their kind – showing the world that each is an individual, complete with their rich emotional world. Just like us, they seek to live a peaceful and happy life surrounded by their family and friends.'
'Located in beautiful Lancefield the sanctuary is home to between 350 and 450 rescued animals at any time. Tours are very informative and also fun and you’ll have a chance to interact with the animals if they choose.'
The tour is 1.5hrs, with participants able to walk 3kms and age 10+ for safety reasons. Biosecurity measures will be shared when you RSVP and must be followed for participants to join the tour. After the tour we will go for coffee/snacks at Lancefield Corner Store.
Click Attend to RSVP to the event. I will then be in touch with you in Meetup Messages. On the day of the event I will be available in the Event Chat.
