What we’re about

F3, Fitness - Fellowship – Faith, is a national network of men’s bootcamp workout groups that had its start on New Year’s Day in Charlotte, NC, when two guys, David Redding and Tim Whitmire, were frustrated that their current exercise group would not take any new members. So, they got their friends together for that first bootcamp workout at the beginning of the year in 2011. And those friends asked other friends to join them in subsequent weeks. Since that time, F3 has grown to 18,000 men attending on a weekly basis at 1,500 workout locations in 28 states.

F3 Seven Hills is a new workout group in Lynchburg, Virginia started in early 2022 by Chip Hemcher (aka "Tigger") with assistance from the awesome crews from F3 Charlottesville and F3 Roanoke.

The Core Principles of F3.

F3 Workouts:

- Are free of charge.

- Are open to all men.

- Are peer led

- Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold.

- End with a circle of trust.

The 2nd F: Fellowship is the comradery we share with each other.  We typically have coffee together after the workouts and meet once a month at a restaurant for dinner and laughs.

The 3rd F : Faith, in the F3 world, simply means believing in something bigger than yourself. F3 is not tied to any particular religious group. In the very short circle of trust at the end, a man can speak a word of wisdom to the group or mention a need or concern that he may have. And he will have the support of the other F3 men.

F3 Seven Hills meets weekly on Saturday mornings at 7am at the new Heritage High School at 3101 Wards Ferry Road... in the parking lot above the football field.  Look for the shovel with the American Flag.
