What we’re about
We are uncovering better ways of exploring the nature by doing funny hikes and helping others do it. These are the things we have come to value most:
• Individuals and interactions over following a plan.
• Laughter and harmony over being on time.
• Passion and communication over reaching a goal.
• Openness and spontaneity over committing to rules.
That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.
Our group is about appreciating the nature together, having funny talks during the hikes and enjoying a special after-hike dinner each time.

See all- Timbered Houses & Panoramic Views - Hike 🥾 around MichelstadtFrankfurt Hbf, platform 12, Frankfurt
This time we will cover 17 km on a very varied circular route with wonderful panoramic views over Erbach and Michelstadt, which are historic half-timbered towns and a highlight for every hiker. The level of the climbs is moderate.
With the forest on one side, we'll pass some roads at the edge of the hills, from where we get a panoramic view over the towns in the valley. Even though we don't need shade at this time of year, the trail will pass through many forested sections. As we will walk through nature, we can refresh ourselves at the Silberbrünnchen, visit the Stockheimer Eiche and the Georgsbuche and rest in the Hermannstempel or in the temple on the Sophienhöhe, enjoying the beautiful panoramic view.
As being said, on this varied route we will not only walk through the forest, but also both through the old town of Erbach and the old town of Erbach, where we will admire the half-timbered houses. The famous Gothic town hall of Michelstadt and the neo-baroque castle of the former royal seat of Erbach are going to be the highlights of this tour.
Dinner at the end of the hike at the restaurant "Michelstädter Rathausbräu" in Michelstadt https://www.rathausbraeu.de.

We have to put some simple rules in place to ease the planning and organizing of hikes and to allow more people to attend. Please don't RSVP YES to simply hold your spot on the event and then drop out at the last minute or simply not show up having decided to do something else that day. Doing so you are not letting other people attend the event, not attending yourself. Repeated history of NO SHOWS could lead you to be bumped to the waiting list or to be removed from the group. The RSVP time is usually closing 1-2 days before the event, in order for people on the waiting list to have time to prepare for attending. Out of respect for others please update your RSVP Status from YES to NO if you will not make it to participate, before the RSVP deadline. If you have to cancel your attendance after the RSVP time has closed, please send a message to the Organizers, so that people from the waiting list can jump in.== Safety disclaimer ==
