Day 1 Sit back and relax as we begin our southern journey to Virginia.
We will make rest stops on the way to our hotel. Wingate Inn Williamsburg. Tonight the Christmas season begins with the Grand Illumination - an elaborate display of fireworks outlining the sky over the Governor's Palace in Williamsburg, Virginia. Witness the spectacular event of glowing candles, fireworks, and holiday music. Enlighten your holiday spirit while having an unforgettable time with family and friends. You will fall in love with Colonial Williamsburg at Christmastime.Day 2 After breakfast we will visit the world's largest living history museum, Colonial Williamsburg. Consisting of 89 original buildings, shops, homes, museums, and gardens that are preserved and restored to their former 18th century appearance.
Later in the day Busch Gardens Christmas Town celebration. With millions of twinkling lights, holiday shows & park favorite rides, Bush Gardens is transformed into a winter wonderland filled with holiday and festive cheer. A voucher (valid at any restaurant on site) will be included for dinner in the park for this evening.Day 3 After Breakfast - When you visit Jamestown Settlement, you’ll uncover modern gallery exhibits and films that dive into the cultures of the Powhatan Indians, English colonists and West Central Africans who converged in 17th-century Virginia. From the galleries, explore outdoor living-history areas to climb aboard a re-creation of one of the three ships that sailed from England to Virginia in 1607, and explore life-size re-creations of the colonists’ fort and the world of the Powhatan Indians in a Paspahegh town.

Join us as we travel to Washington, D.C. We hope to see the Cherry Blossoms but if there not in bloom this will be still will be an amazing trip.

Day 2- After breakfast we will travel to Arlington National Cemetery.

Day 2 Travel to Chincoteague Island. We will take a boat tour of Assateague Island This is the perfect way to experience the island's natural beauty, spot the famous wild ponies and other wildlife, and enjoy tranquil scenery.

Day 3 We travel to St. Michaels, Maryland.
The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum -- The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum explores and preserves the history, environment, and culture of the entire Chesapeake Bay region, and makes this resource accessible to all. Our members and guests enjoy transformative experiences as they encounter Chesapeake Bay history firsthand through real people, real work, original artifacts and exhibitions, visual arts, and Chesapeake artifacts.After the museum you can walk around the town of St. Michaels and have lunch on your own.
