South Bay Area Soccer

The game will occur if 4+ people RSVP. Please make sure to RSVP! We are a group of people mixed age, mixed skills but mostly intermediate. Make sure to check meetup for updates up until the scheduled time. Please bring a white shirt and a dark/color shirt.
Please RSVP and be there little before to start promptly and we'll play for some 90 minutes.

IMPORTANT

• You NEED to RSVP. If you show up without RSVP-ing you risk that you won’t play.
• If you signed up and cannot play, change your RSVP in time (preferred Saturday evening).
• Bring a white and dark shirt (no light colors, no grey, no stripes!)
• NO guests

NO-SHOWS

Because we limit the game to 18 people, it's important that your RSVP is up to date. If you were a no-show in the past, you cannot expect to play if we have more reliable people on the wait-list. Based on this

• organizers take the right to drop you off the RSVP list
• before going to the game, check that you are on the RSVP list
• people on wait-list cannot play

THIS GAME IS VERY FULL. I don't want to turn people away, but you have been warned.

We play every Sunday at Creekside Park, Cupertino.
(backup location is the Cupertino High School football field)

BRING TWO SHIRTS: one white, one color (please no stripes, or grays)

Soccer cleats highly encouraged. No rough play. Shin guards recommended but not required.

There's a water fountain in case you don't bring a bottle.

No fees - it's free.

Note: Stanford University will soon be closing our usual field on Sand Hill Road (and the field will remain closed for a few months).

Our usual fields are closed, so we are now playing on the IM fields at the intersection of El Camino and Churchill

Arrival time is 3:00 p.m., no change for PST-PDT.

Please bring a dark and a white shirt so dividing players into will be easier.

It helps to RSVP but this game averages about 18 people, unless it is raining, so come even if the RSVP is low.

Here are the rules:

No slide tackles; This is a changing mix of people and there are some hard standing tackles...if you are new please keep this in mind.

if the game is going when you arrive, please count numbers before joining in;

Please split into two games once we have 15 vs 15; People who show up late should join the new game!

If you have PUGG goals, please bring them with you, because sometimes the game is crowded and we might want to split into two games. Thanks!
