Get Out & Get Social - 50 Plus

This trail can start in St Jacobs or in Waterloo. We are starting in Waterloo. It is generally an easy trail. Sometimes there are some roots and bumps and little bridges. There is a wired retaining wall to walk over at the little creek that I like to take my time at. We will see the wise old oak as shown in the photo. If we get far enough we may walk through a farmers field and see cattle or horses. We can walk in for 30-45 minutes and then turn around. This is not a race type walk. We will make sure it works for everyone. You can park on the road around the trail head at 3075 University Ave E. (the little green number sign will show that address right at the head of the trail)

I like this cafe as it is so historical. Imagine the history. I saw a presentation by the owner and he said there were ghosts at the Heuther. It was built in 1842 and it is inside the Heuther Hotel. It is on the corner of Princess and King. You can find 2 hr free parking on the streets (just watch the signs) and at the parking lot on Regina and Bridgeport, or the library. Hope to see you there. You will need to go up to the counter to get your drink and snacks. They have a full breakfast also if you want some.

Come out for coffee time! We have to leave at 11 so Bauer Kitchen can set up for
Lunch. Get you coffee at the cafe and come into the restaurant for seating. See you then.

Let's celebrate the holiday season with a nice dinner at Proof. Since it is the holiday season perhaps you want to check into your closet to dig up those clothes we never get to wear because they are dressy. Or maybe those dusty high heels.
