The hike is in the Bellthorpe National Park - approximately 22kms along 4wd tracks through open eucalypt forest, rainforest and over small rocky creeks. Plenty of hills to get the heart pumping!!!!
Approximately 5 hours with plenty of breaks

What to bring
• Plenty of water - minimum of 3+ litres
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Light snacks
• Picnic Lunch
Hiking boots are always recommended, as is DEET insect repellent for (potential) ticks (pointed tweezers are good to get these off), leeches (salt to remove these), etc. A first-aid kit must always be carried, INCLUDING BLISTER PADS, just in case
Driving Directions
Follow the Steve Irwin Way then turn into Kilcoy-Beerwah Road, at intersection turn right onto the D'Aguilar Highway, turn right into Stony-Creek Road, continue on Fletcher Road to the Stony Creek day-use carpark.
From Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast allow at least 1hr 15mins.

Cost
$2 contribution per person will be collected at the beginning of the hike to help cover our registration on the Meetup website and sundry costs.
What are we doing afterwards?
• Woodford hotel for refreshments (too late for lunch) or bring your own picnic lunch.
