GC Oceanway - Part 7! Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park SLSC 5km walk + refreshments

Walking from Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Life Saving Club we’ll walk north along the GC Oceanway to North Burleigh. We’ll walk up to the lookout and enjoy sweeping views of the coastline before heading onto the beach and returning back to our start point for well earned refreshments and chat.
This walk is around 5km on paths with some uneven sections, an uphill section and sand (the non-sand option is to return on the path).
We’ll enjoy social chat and refreshments at Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Club afterwards :)
Bring: a $2 donation towards the meetup fees and organiser costs, hat, water bottle and appropriate footwear.

Please be mindfulful to update your attendance to ‘not going’ as soon as possible if you can no longer join us. This is so we can update bookings and not hold up the group waiting for ‘no shows’.

This event (formerly’Walk & a Wine) has been running for over 15 years in one form or another. It’s a wonderful way to meet new people, get a feel for the Active and Social Meetup Group and enjoy our amazing coastline views along the Gold Coast Oceanway!
