Name: The Bluff Circuit (26KM, 1800m elev, G5, 2D|1N, Expedition)

Join me for this challenging hike in the Alpine National Park to conquer The Bluff. Expect steeeeep and overgrown tracks, and rock scrambling as we endure the unrelenting climb up 8 Mile Spur Track.
We will be rewarded with panoramic views atop the Bluff, and will camp at Bluff Hut, before making our way back via Ritchies Hut.

Whilst the distances are relatively short, there is alot of elevation so please ensure you are physically conditioned.
This hike is subject to automatic waitlisting, pending verification of experience with similar hikes.

I would encourage you to carry 1.5 days of water - whilst there is a rainwater tank reported at Bluff Hut, water levels can be unreliable and the next water source is from Ritchies Hut (Howqua River).

**Things to note:**

1. Please arrive at 9.30 AM sharp.
2. Please be prepared for a long and challenging weekend, we will be keeping a fast pace and minimal rest stops to ensure we make it out before nightfall.
3. This event is weather dependant, and will be cancelled / route changed if conditions are unsafe.
4. I have not completed this route before, so please be ready to take wrong turns, help with navigation etc.
5. Whilst I am aiming to be out well before sunset on Sunday, please be prepared to hike in the dark, if necessary.

**What to bring:**

* Sleep/shelter system
* Food, water, and consumables for 2 days
* Wet weather gear and Headtorch
* Clean change of clothes for after the hike
