Note from the organizer: If you request to join and are not added right away, there may be a waitlist because meetup caps the quantity of members in the group. Your request will be approved as soon as new spots become available. To be approved for membership, your profile picture must be a picture of you (your dog is cute, but not helpful when looking out for you at a meetup).
This group is for anyone interested in reading a wide variety of books and getting to know new people. Meetings will be held once or twice a month at a variety of outdoor spaces or restaurants so we can enjoy good discussion and food together.
We started this group because the other book clubs in the area are either very specific about the people that can join/genres read or the number of people that can attend a meeting is limited. We want everyone to be able to join in on the fun. If our numbers become too large, we will open new meeting times and people will have an opportunity to choose which gatherings to attend.
There is a $12 annual fee for this group to cover Meetup Administration fees with a trial period of 90 days for new members.
