What we’re about
Curious about how you can do something about climate change? Join us to learn more about how we're organizing at a local level to drive national policy to reduce the climate pollution exacerbating extreme weather.
New members are invited to join our monthly Zoom call on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm ET for an introduction to the chapter and our organizing principles.

See all- South Carolina Climate Action Meeting - NovemberNeeds location
The South Carolina chapters of CCL meet online on the third Tuesday of each month at 8pm ET.
During our November meeting, we'll prepare for our fall lobby meetings on Zoom, which will take place the week of December 9.
We would love to have new participants at lobby meetings with our congressional delegation. Your role could be as simple as introducing yourself as a constituent and expressing your concerns about climate change.
If you’re new to CCL or you have never taken the Climate Advocate Lobby Training workshop, we strongly encourage you to sign up and attend a live online session on Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. ET. This workshop is required to lobby with CCL.
Who we are
We’re a group of nonpartisan volunteers from across South Carolina working together to advance policy solutions for reducing climate pollution and building a clean, sustainable energy future. Our work is making a difference—seven climate bills we’ve lobbied for are now law. Each month, we gather online to discuss advocacy plans, tackle quick and effective climate actions, hear the latest on climate policies, and connect with guest speakers in the conservation and clean energy space. Please email [email protected] for the Zoom join info.
